Odaily News According to official statements regarding the transaction loss and packaging delays on the Base network on January 31, due to changes in transaction propagation configuration, block builders repeatedly fetched transactions, but these transactions could not be executed due to rapidly rising base fees. The team has mitigated the issue by rolling back the changes and has verified that network stability has been restored. Steps are being taken to prevent such problems from recurring and to improve response measures.

These measures include optimizing the transaction pipeline, removing unnecessary P2P overhead, and adjusting the mempool queue—this work is expected to take about a month. Additionally, improvements are being made to the alerting and change monitoring mechanisms during infrastructure change deployments.
