Odaily News: The next-generation gaming and entertainment platform BLUFF has announced the completion of a $21 million strategic funding round. This round was led by global blockchain investment firm 1kx, with participation from Makers Fund, Maximum Frequency Ventures, Delphi Ventures founders, among others. NBA star and tech investor Tristan Thompson also took part.
The BLUFF team comprises members from leading gaming platforms such as Stake, Bet365, William Hill, and Bodog, bringing extensive industry operational experience. The project is positioned as a next-generation betting platform with a social core, emphasizing a high-speed experience, transparent settlement, verifiable fairness, and user incentive mechanisms. It supports instant registration, real-time settlement, and allows users to directly participate in the platform's ecosystem growth.
According to official disclosures, BLUFF has already attracted over 600,000 user registrations even before its official launch, with daily active users reaching tens of thousands. During the testing phase over three months, it processed more than 125 million bets cumulatively. The funds from this round will be used to advance product development and support the platform's scaled launch.
BLUFF stated that in the future, building upon traditional sports betting, it will further integrate real-time prediction markets, binary outcome products, and creator-driven community activities. Through its VIP matching program, it aims to attract users to migrate from traditional gaming platforms to the BLUFF ecosystem.
