BNB Chain Launches BAP Standard to Unify Application Layer and Boost Development Efficiency

Odaily News BNB Chain's developer team announced that the goal of BAP (BNB Application Proposals) is to make the application layer more consistent, enhance interoperability, and lower the development barrier. Through shared standards, the ecosystem can achieve faster development speeds, simpler integration methods, better developer experience, and reduce one-off implementations.

According to the official introduction, BAP can cover extensions to existing token standards, identity and wallet specifications, off-chain data conventions, dApp/proxy/protocol interfaces, as well as BNB Chain smart contract best practices. BAP will follow the process defined by BEP-1, including idea discussion, draft submission, community and editorial review, and ultimately be adopted as an official standard.
