The system is powered by technical support from BLOOCK and Billions Network, aiming to digitally manage the entire aid process from donation to distribution. RedChain utilizes ERC-20 tokens on the Ethereum blockchain to replace paper vouchers and prepaid cards. Beneficiaries can make payments at partner merchants using QR codes via a mobile wallet. The identity information and case records of beneficiaries are stored in the Spanish Red Cross's off-chain system. The public blockchain is solely used to verify transaction hashes, timestamps, and integrity proofs, ensuring transparency in the flow of donated funds while protecting beneficiary privacy.
