U.S. Senator Calls for Congressional Hearing on UAE National Security Advisor's Acquisition of WLFI Equity

Odaily News U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren has called on Congress to hold a hearing regarding the $500 million acquisition of WLFI equity by UAE National Security Advisor Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Reports indicate that the transaction documents were signed by Eric Trump, with approximately $187 million flowing directly into entities related to the Trump family, and at least $31 million directed to entities associated with Trump ally Steve Witkoff.

Elizabeth Warren stated that this move is "pure corruption" and called on the Trump administration to reverse its decision to sell sensitive AI chips to the UAE. She also demanded that Trump administration officials, including Steve Witkoff, David Sacks, and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, testify before Congress on related issues, accusing them of endangering U.S. national security to benefit cryptocurrency companies linked to the President.
