Cathie Wood: Truflation data shows inflation has dropped to 0.86%, the US dollar may see a strong upward trend again.
Odaily News ARK Invest founder Cathie Wood stated that according to Truflation data, US consumer price inflation has fallen to 0.86% year-on-year, significantly below the 2%-3% range maintained over the past two years. She believes there is a possibility for inflation to decline further, even turning negative, a view that differs from the forecasts of BlackRock and PIMCO.
Cathie Wood also pointed out that although the US Dollar Index (DXY) has recently experienced a pullback, it has not collapsed. If the current administration's policies increase the return on invested capital (ROIC) in the US relative to other regions globally, the US dollar could potentially see a strong upward trend again, reminiscent of the "Reaganomics" period in the 1980s.
