FTX Creditor Representative: Next Round of Fund Distribution Expected on March 31

Odaily News FTX creditor representative Sunil posted on the X platform, stating that the next round of fund distribution for FTX is expected to take place on March 31. The total reconciled claim amount currently stands at approximately $9.6 billion, comprising: approximately $780 million in claims under $50,000, approximately $7.8 billion in claims over $50,000, and approximately $1 billion in non-customer claims. Sunil also noted that the size of the dispute reserve has been reduced by about $2.2 billion. If the subsequent distribution of approximately $2 billion in funds is completed, it is estimated that the claim category over $50,000 could receive an additional payout of approximately $1.7 billion. Overall, the progress of FTX creditor recovery continues to advance, and the pace of subsequent distributions will still depend on the resolution of disputed claims and the progress of asset liquidation.
