Hong Kong Police Arrest Two Suspects in 58 Million Yen Money Exchange Shop Robbery

Odaily News: A robbery occurred yesterday near a money exchange shop on Des Voeux Road Central in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, where 58 million yen was stolen. Hong Kong police have disclosed that the case has been solved. The two suspects are Japanese men aged 27 and 51, respectively, and were arrested at Hong Kong Airport. Both are employees of a Japanese money exchange shop. They were preparing to exchange 190 million yen (worth approximately 5.88 million Hong Kong dollars). One of them snatched a backpack from the other (containing 58 million yen). Hong Kong police quickly identified the suspects by reviewing surveillance footage and ultimately successfully apprehended the two Japanese men who carried out the robbery and acted as an accomplice.
