Amboss: Launches RailsX, a P2P Decentralized Exchange Based on the Lightning Network
Odaily News Amboss announced the launch of RailsX, the first Lightning-native P2P decentralized exchange, at the PlanB forum in El Salvador. The platform leverages Lightning Network and Taproot Assets technology, enabling users to conduct large-scale transactions between Bitcoin and stablecoins in a self-custodial manner. RailsX achieves atomic cross-asset swaps through Lightning channel loop self-payments, eliminating the need to deploy a new blockchain. Furthermore, RailsX integrates with the liquidity marketplace Magma and collaborates with Magnolia and Bringin to support fiat on/off-ramps via European and American banking channels. The project aims to utilize Lightning Network stablecoin access to tap into the $9.5 trillion daily trading volume foreign exchange market, promoting Bitcoin as a global medium of exchange.
