CZ's "Buy and Hold" Viewpoint Questioned by Community, Said Not Applicable to All Crypto Assets

Odaily News CZ posted yesterday stating that few trading strategies can outperform the simple "Buy & Hold" approach, encouraging users to maintain a long-term holding strategy during the crypto bear market. However, this viewpoint subsequently sparked controversy within the community.

Community user @WazzCrypto cited relevant data, pointing out that "if one had bought all the tokens listed on Binance Futures last year, the overall portfolio would be nearly wiped out," questioning the universal applicability of the "buy and hold" strategy in the crypto market.

In response, CZ clarified this morning that the strategy is clearly not suitable for all cryptocurrencies. He stated that this is similar to the situation of "buying all internet or AI projects/companies"; in any industry, most projects will ultimately fail, with only a few successful ones achieving exponential growth.
