Tether Surpasses Greece, Qatar, and Australia to Rank Among Top 30 Global Gold Holders

Odaily News Stablecoin issuer Tether officially announced that, according to International Monetary Fund (IMF) data and a Jefferies report, Tether has ranked among the top 30 global gold holders, surpassing countries such as Greece, Qatar, and Australia. It is reported that as of the end of Q4 2025, Tether's total physical gold reserves reached 520,089.350 ounces, with the total number of XAUT tokens in circulation being 520,089.3, accounting for approximately 60% of the total supply of gold-backed stablecoins.
