149 Million Infostealer Records Exposed, Involving Some Binance User Accounts

Odaily News Security researcher Jeremiah Fowler disclosed a leaked dataset of approximately 149 million Infostealer (information-stealing malware) records, which includes about 420,000 login credentials related to Binance. This data originated from infected personal devices and involves multiple platforms such as Gmail, Facebook, Instagram, and Netflix. Security experts emphasize that this is not a breach of Binance's systems but rather a result of infections on user-end devices. Binance stated it will monitor the dark web, alert affected users, and reset passwords, while also recommending users to enable hardware-level multi-factor authentication (MFA), use antivirus software, and strengthen account security.
