Odaily News Extreme weather conditions in the United States have led to the voluntary suspension of most Bitcoin mining activities across the country. For instance, the hash rate of the Foundry USA mining pool alone has dropped by approximately 60% since last Friday. The total hash rate from major U.S. mining pools has decreased by about 200 EH/s, causing Bitcoin block production times to extend beyond 12 minutes. Foundry USA's hash rate has fallen from a recent peak of nearly 328 EH/s to around 139 EH/s. (The Block)
