Yili Hua: Investment and Trading Have No God's Perspective; Set Buying and Selling Strategies Based on Medium to Long-Term Timelines

2026-01-26 12:07

Odaily News Liquid Capital founder Yili Hua posted on the X platform, stating: "Everyone is very puzzled. We are buying in large quantities, BMNR and MicroStrategy are buying, CZ is shouting about a super bull market cycle, but the coin price remains weak and volatile. What exactly is the reason? After all, the stock market, gold/silver have gone crazy. In our view, there are several main reasons: one is the impact of the four-year cycle and the 1011 crash, one is the impact of the Japanese yen interest rate hike, one is that the US BTC strategic reserve has not made new purchases, one is that short sellers are frantically using this opportunity to dump, and one is that safe-haven funds are in gold/silver and the stock market. However, thinking in reverse, at a time when so many negative factors have emerged, ETH still remains stable, fluctuating and shaking out around $3,000. This is also the reason we decided to build a position after clearing our holdings at $4,500. Many people suggest we wait longer to buy, that there will be a better price entry point. But investment and trading have no God's perspective; it's very difficult to know what the absolute bottom of this phase is. The difference between investment and speculation is that we find it hard to engage in short-term trading; even with considerable floating profits, we hold steady. We set our buying and selling strategies based on medium to long-term timelines."
