MetaPlanet Records Approximately $679 Million in Bitcoin Quarterly Market Value Fluctuation Losses

Odaily News Japanese listed company MetaPlanet announced that its performance forecast for fiscal year 2025 has been revised upward, with revenue increasing from 6.8 billion yen to 8.905 billion yen and operating profit rising to 6.287 billion yen. However, due to Bitcoin's quarterly market value fluctuations, the company recorded an assessment loss of 104.636 billion yen (approximately $679 million), resulting in an ordinary loss of 98.558 billion yen.
