French Crypto Tax Platform Waltio Hacked and Extorted, Data of Approximately 50,000 Users Potentially Leaked

The group claims to have obtained personal data of approximately 50,000 of the platform's clients, most of whom are located in France, and is demanding a ransom.

Waltio is a company that provides portfolio tracking and tax calculation services for cryptocurrency holders. The company stated that it has filed a police report regarding this incident of "attempted extortion and compromise of automated data processing systems".
