Senate Agriculture Committee Releases Latest Crypto Market Structure Bill Text, Fails to Reach Agreement with Democrats

Odaily News: Crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett posted that two additional weeks of negotiations aimed at securing formal Democratic support have failed to yield results. The Senate Agriculture Committee's (@SenateAg) markup next week is expected to be partisan, which is not a positive signal for the Senate Banking Committee, which had hoped to advance its own review with bipartisan consensus.

She further stated that the Senate Agriculture Committee has released the latest version of the crypto market structure bill text. Committee Chairman John Boozman said that an agreement with Democrats was not reached but he still looks forward to next week's markup session. The meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday at 3:00 PM Eastern Time.
