Bitget Releases UEX Whitepaper, Outlining Evolution Path for Multi-Asset System

2026-01-21 10:06

Odaily News Bitget recently released the Universal Exchange (UEX) whitepaper, systematically detailing the exchange's plan to evolve from a single cryptocurrency asset platform into a unified financial system covering multiple asset classes.

The whitepaper was authored by Ryan Lee, Chief Analyst at Bitget Research Institute, and co-authored by Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. The report elaborates on the Universal Exchange (UEX) framework, which aims to deeply integrate centralized finance, decentralized finance, and traditional financial markets through a single account system. This approach seeks to break the "impossible trinity" dilemma faced by CEXs and DEXs, achieving a synergistic balance between user experience, asset diversity, and security.

Gracy Chen pointed out that the essence of UEX is to eliminate the fragmentation of asset access. Currently, under the Universal Exchange UEX model, Bitget has integrated core sectors including on-chain assets, US stocks, TradFi, and AI. With the global tokenized asset market size projected to exceed one trillion dollars by 2030, this whitepaper not only provides systematic theoretical support for the universalization strategies of mainstream exchanges like Bitget but also serves as an industry reference blueprint, offering key path guidance for fintech institutions in the next phase of accelerated integration between crypto and traditional finance.

Furthermore, Bitget's official platform has successively released three series of short films centered on UEX. Using the historical development context as the narrative backdrop, these films present the strategic vision of UEX.
