Stellar Community Fund Announces Upgrade and Optimizes Funding Allocation Methods

Odaily News: Stellar has announced an upgrade to its community fund, launching Stellar Community Fund v7.0, aimed at accelerating ecosystem growth and helping developers scale faster. It is reported that the fund has been operational for six and a half years. This upgrade was launched following the successful SCF Pilot vote via Soroban Governor, to adapt to network maturity and developer needs. SCF v7.0 will adjust and optimize the funding allocation method to encourage execution, speed, and delivery. Specifically: 10% will be paid upon initial grant award, 20% at the mid-development milestone stage, 30% at the advanced product readiness stage (testnet), and 40% upon mainnet launch verification and user experience readiness.
