Data from relevant charts shows that in 2024, the total fines imposed by the EU on U.S. tech companies reached 3.8 billion euros, while the total corporate income tax paid by all listed European internet and tech companies during the same period was only 3.2 billion euros. Currently, U.S. tech giants such as Apple, Google, and Meta are facing fines or tax reassessment rulings amounting to billions of euros from the EU.
