Odaily News According to Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, founder of the Yale Chief Executive Leadership Institute, privately, American corporate CEOs are "deeply alarmed" by the government's attacks on the Federal Reserve. Sonnenfeld and his colleagues found that among the 200 CEOs they surveyed, 71% believe the Trump administration has eroded the Fed's independence, and 80% say Trump's pressure on Powell to cut interest rates is not in America's best interest.
