Odaily News Former New York City Mayor Eric Adams has launched a cryptocurrency named NYC Token. The project was co-founded by Eric Adams and two other members, aiming to fund non-profit organizations combating anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism with the revenue generated from the token. Eric Adams stated that the token will also be used to educate students about blockchain technology. Eric Adams currently does not receive a salary and mentioned that if he does take a salary in the future, it will be made public. Currently, the project's website only displays a slogan and a link to its X platform account. Current New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has stated he will not purchase this token.
