Vitalik: "Corposlop" is a soulless, evil, and shoddy homogenized product

He defined "corposlop" as a combination of corporate optimization capabilities, seemingly decent brand image, and unseemly behaviors adopted to maximize profits. Vitalik Buterin stated that "corposlop" is a soulless, trend-following, both evil and shoddy homogenized product.
He pointed out that the meaning of "sovereignty" has now expanded, referring not only to avoiding government coercion but also to protecting digital privacy through encryption technology and safeguarding one's own mind from the influence of corporate psychological warfare designed to extract user attention and money.
He called on developers to build more sovereign tools, such as: privacy-preserving local-first applications, user-controllable social media platforms, financial tools that discourage 50x leverage or sports betting, open and friendly AI tools, and DAOs pursuing unique goals. He concluded: "Stay sovereign, reject corposlop, believe in somETHing."
