a16z Raises Over $15 Billion, Betting on AI and Crypto

Odaily News a16z announced that it has just completed a fundraising round exceeding $15 billion. This capital includes: the American Dynamism fund ($1.176 billion), the Apps fund ($1.7 billion), the Bio + Health fund ($700 million), the Infrastructure fund ($1.7 billion), the Growth fund ($6.75 billion), and other venture capital strategy funds ($3 billion).

The announcement stated that its mission is to ensure the United States wins the technological competition over the next 100 years, with a focus on securing key architectures such as AI and crypto. Furthermore, it will also promote the application of related technologies in fields such as biology, health, defense, public safety, education, and entertainment.
