FTX-Related Class Action Lawsuit Dismissed, Lawyers Receive $650,000 in Fees While Claimants Get No Compensation

Odaily News FTX Historian posted on the X platform stating that a class action lawsuit related to FTX has been dismissed. Although the claimants did not receive any compensation, the representing lawyers were awarded $650,000. The Ontario Teachers' Pension Fund had invested $95 million in FTX. The class action lawsuit alleged that the fund failed to conduct proper due diligence on its investment. Additionally, former FTX customers in the United States have initiated similar lawsuits against FTX shareholders.
