As a steward of the protocol, the Zcash Foundation's mission is to serve the public interest, with key focuses including: maintaining and supporting Zcash protocol development, funding independent research and engineering practices, supporting the decentralization of infrastructure and governance, and advocating for privacy as a fundamental human right.
