Crypto.com Partners with Stripe to Expand Crypto Payment Scenarios

Odaily News Crypto.com and payment service provider Stripe announced a partnership. Through product integration, the collaboration aims to help merchants more conveniently accept cryptocurrency payments. By integrating with Stripe, millions of merchants using Stripe will be able to connect to Crypto.com Pay, allowing consumers to directly use their crypto asset balances or stablecoins for settlement. Stripe will convert the relevant payments into the merchant's chosen local fiat currency for settlement.

Crypto.com stated that it has become the first crypto platform to achieve a "direct balance payment" integration with Stripe. Meanwhile, Crypto.com will also utilize Stripe's acquiring services to support users in purchasing cryptocurrencies via credit and debit cards, and to promote the expansion of its card products and payment business in the United States. Both parties stated that this collaboration aims to enhance the usability and coverage of crypto assets in everyday commerce.
