Brazilian Presidential Candidate Calls for Establishment of National-Level Bitcoin Reserve
Odaily News: Brazilian presidential candidate and founder of the political party Missão, Renan Santos, recently stated in a podcast that Brazil should consider establishing a national-level Bitcoin reserve, calling the proposal "feasible in reality." He pointed out that some countries have already begun exploring similar practices, and Brazil could gradually build a Bitcoin reserve system.
Renan Santos stated that his campaign platform has already incorporated Bitcoin-related content, and he believes blockchain technology can serve as a tool for the public sector to enhance transparency and combat corruption. Previously, the Brazilian Congress has held public hearings on the topic of strategic Bitcoin reserves, with related discussions initiated by pro-crypto lawmakers.
