U.S. House Speaker: White House Handling Greenland Issue Through Diplomatic Channels

Previously, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt indicated that the Trump team is discussing "a range of options" regarding Greenland and stated that deploying U.S. military forces "is always an available option." In response to these remarks, Johnson commented that the U.S. always has military options on any issue, but this is merely a principled statement. "I think that's a general statement. On Greenland, it's clear we are moving forward through diplomatic channels," Johnson said. He added that he does not believe anyone is discussing the use of military force against Greenland.
