Anthony Pompliano: Wall Street Changes the Bitcoin Game Rules, the Next Decade May No Longer See "Meteoric Rise" Trends
Odaily News: ProCap Chairman Anthony Pompliano analyzed on platform X the reasons for Bitcoin's underperformance in 2025. He pointed out that Bitcoin's decline is the result of multiple converging trends, including Wall Street changing the rules of the Bitcoin game. As Bitcoin is integrated into the traditional financial system, some early holders are exiting. However, simultaneously, Bitcoin's risk is far lower than at any point in its history. Its decentralization now spans from individual retail investors to large financial institutions, and it has proven its resilience through multiple economic crises. Yet, lower risk also leads to lower returns. While Bitcoin is expected to continue outperforming stock indices over the next decade, it will not replicate the past compound annual growth rates exceeding 80%. Anthony Pompliano also disclosed that he personally increased his Bitcoin holdings in 2025, quoting Charlie Munger: "The big money is not in the buying and the selling, but in the waiting."
