Former CFTC Commissioner Brian Quintenz Joins SUI Board After Failing to Secure CFTC Chairmanship

Odaily News Former CFTC Commissioner Brian Quintenz was appointed as an independent director of the company's board on January 5 and will join the audit committee. Brian Quintenz previously served as the head of policy at a16z crypto, and his nomination for CFTC Chairman was withdrawn last year. SUI Group stated that this move aims to leverage his capital markets and regulatory experience to advance the company's SUI treasury strategy. As of now, the SUI Group treasury holds approximately 108 million SUI tokens. Additionally, Michael Selig assumed the role of CFTC Chairman in December last year.
