Odaily News Bloomberg analyst Mike McGlone stated in a post that if using the 50-week moving average as a reference, both silver and Bitcoin will face declines in 2026. On December 31, the price of silver was approximately $72 per ounce, representing a 73% premium over its 50-week moving average. This year-end price premium has only occurred once before, in 1979, after which silver peaked in 1980 and then fell 52% to $15.5. Currently, Bitcoin's price is around $87,000, trading at a 13% discount to its 50-week moving average, which typically signals a price bottom, with a potential decline of close to 55%.
