Odaily According to the latest report released by the Global Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF) platform, in 2025, the total assets under management by global sovereign wealth funds reached a record $15 trillion. At the same time, many sovereign wealth funds have increased their investments in the technology sector and profited from the booming market. Overall, sovereign wealth funds invested a total of $66 billion in artificial intelligence and digitalization in 2025. Middle Eastern sovereign wealth funds were the most prominent in digital investments, with Abu Dhabi's Mubadala Investment Company investing $12.9 billion in AI and digitalization, followed by the Kuwait Investment Authority's $6 billion and the Qatar Investment Authority's $4 billion. The Middle East remains the hub for sovereign wealth fund wealth.
