The reason is that a bug in the Chrome Web Store was encountered when releasing a new version. Google has confirmed the issue and is following up internally. The new version of Trust Wallet adds a feature designed to help reimbursement applicants submit verification codes through the extension, which aids in better verifying the wallet ownership of affected users, thereby distinguishing them from hackers/scammers.
