A wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong-listed China Carbon Neutrality announced the issuance of 500 million carbon coins.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that China Carbon Neutral, a Hong Kong-listed company, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Global Carbon Asset Management Co., Limited, through the Singapore-licensed digital asset trading platform DigiFT, will compliantly custody, issue, and distribute a total of 500 million Carbon Coins, using 500,000 tons of carbon credits certified under the Certified Carbon Standard (“VCS”) as the underlying asset.
