Odaily Planet Daily reports that Wintermute CEO Evgeny Gaevoy posted on social media that some builders and KOLs under 30 who claim to be "leaving the crypto industry" have not been truly deeply involved in its development, and their statements are misleading. Gaevoy pointed out that these individuals are often not long-term investors but choose to leave early on, thus not constituting a true "exit." He believes that describing short-term participation as "leaving the industry" is essentially acquiring industry experience and reputation that doesn't belong to them and is unfair to long-term practitioners. Gaevoy emphasized that the development of the crypto industry relies on continuous investment and development, and leaving after a short-term attempt should not be packaged as a symbolic personal choice.
