Metaplanet's board of directors has approved a plan to increase its Bitcoin holdings, aiming to accumulate 210,000 BTC by the end of 2027.

According to Odaily Planet Daily, digital asset treasury Metaplanet (DAT) plans to hold 210,000 bitcoins by the end of 2027. Dylan LeClair, Metaplanet's Director of Strategy, stated that the company passed several equity-related proposals at an extraordinary general meeting, which will help raise funds for further bitcoin purchases. This move effectively allows Metaplanet to increase its bitcoin holdings using financial instruments without immediately diluting the stakes of existing shareholders. (DL News)
