Bybit attends the Abu Dhabi HSC Asset Management Conference to discuss key factors for institutional cryptocurrency adoption.
Odaily Planet Daily reports that cryptocurrency exchange Bybit recently participated in the HSC Asset Management Conference in Abu Dhabi. At the conference, Yoyee Wang, Head of Institutional Business at Bybit, stated that custody design, capital efficiency, and regulatory transparency are key elements driving institutional participation in digital assets.
In a forum session titled "The Future Architecture of Digital Finance: Investment, Trading, Custody and New Market Structures," Yoyee Wang stated that with the introduction of custody structures, the primary challenge the industry faces when dealing with institutional clients is capital efficiency.
In addition, she stated that Bybit had previously established its headquarters in the UAE, partly because regulatory clarity is crucial for technological innovation and building confidence in global institutions.
Yoyee Wang also mentioned that Bybit has partnered with Qatar National Bank and UBS to launch tokenized products, providing clients with exposure to money market instruments and encouraging institutions to view digital assets as part of the broader blockchain infrastructure.
