Odaily Planet Daily reports that Douyin (TikTok's Chinese version) has released the "Douyin Community Financial Industry Convention (Trial)," which states that "it is prohibited to use concepts such as blockchain and digital assets to package and publish illegal financial content related to virtual currency exchange businesses, providing information intermediary and pricing services for virtual currency transactions; it is prohibited to use the guise of popular science to analyze or predict individual stock buying and selling prices, tout future trends, or provide investment consulting advice, etc., which constitutes illegal stock recommendation behavior."
