Metaplanet announced the establishment of its American Depositary Receipt (MPJPY) program, which will take effect on December 19.

According to a disclosure by Metaplanet Inc., as reported by Odaily Planet Daily, the company announced the establishment of an American Depositary Receipt (ADR) program, with Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas as the depositary bank. Trading of the company's ADRs is expected to commence in the United States on December 19, 2025 (Eastern Time).

According to the announcement, this move aims to improve accessibility and transparency for global investors and meet the needs of US investors for more efficient and direct participation in company equity. ADRs will be denominated in US dollars and traded through the US securities trading infrastructure, reducing transaction costs and improving settlement efficiency.

The project details show that the ADR is 1:1 with the common stock, the CUSIP number is 59141L 109, the trading code is MPJPY, and it will be traded on the U.S. over-the-counter market.

The company emphasized that this ADR project is not for financing purposes and will not affect the total number of issued ordinary or preferred shares.
