Trader Eugene: Altcoins are nearing the end of their decline, mainstream coins may still fall.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that trader Eugene Ng Ah Sio posted on his personal channel that he successfully avoided the repeated fluctuations of the past month and believes that most altcoins have entered "Regime 5" (i.e., oversold rebound), and it's time to start making watchlists and placing buy orders.

However, mainstream cryptocurrencies are still in stage 4—the DAT crash hasn't actually happened yet. Therefore, the current approach is to monitor the market with a "prepared to buy" mindset, rather than waiting for a rebound to short.

He stated, "This year has been tough for most people, but 2026 will be better."
