Coinbase launches customized stablecoin service; R2 selected as one of its first ecosystem projects.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Coinbase has officially launched its Custom Stablecoins service, allowing partners to issue their own branded stablecoins within the Coinbase ecosystem, backed by diverse collateralized assets including USDC. This solution allows:

- Embed a distinct brand identity in payments and transactions;

- Provide incentive rewards for stablecoin balances;

- Coinbase is responsible for the issuance, compliance, and operational processes of stablecoins.

Coinbase stated that projects such as R2 are exploring providing customized stablecoin services to their users based on this solution, which is expected to be rolled out gradually in the coming months.
