Odaily Planet Daily reports that a US court has once again been asked to weigh the Maximum Extractable Value (MEV) practice. The judge granted a motion to amend and resubmit new evidence regarding MEV transactions in the class-action lawsuit filed against Pump.fun, Jito Labs, and the Solana Foundation.
The plaintiffs allege that Pump.fun used MEV technology to allow insiders to acquire new tokens at a low price, then artificially inflated the price before selling them to retail participants, who were then used as exit liquidity for the insiders. Solana Labs and Jito Labs are also accused of providing support in this scheme. (Cointelegraph)
