The Cyber Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security announced the cracking of a major online cryptocurrency pyramid scheme.

According to a report on the WeChat official account of the Cyber Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, the Guizhou Qiannan Cyber Security Bureau, in conjunction with the Economic Investigation Department, cracked a major online cryptocurrency pyramid scheme, arresting 15 suspects. This pyramid scheme established an anonymous trading platform, attracting participants through a multi-level membership system, promises of high returns, and the recruitment of downlines. The organization had more than three levels and involved thousands of participants. The suspects have been dealt with according to law.
