Trump: Will review the case of Samourai Wallet developers

Odaily Planet Daily reports that when asked about the case of Samourai Wallet developer Keonne Rodriguez at a White House press conference, US President Trump stated that he would review the case and take a look. Samourai Wallet co-founders Keonne Rodriguez and William Lonergan Hill were sentenced on November 19 to five and four years in prison, respectively, for charges related to their involvement in a cryptocurrency mixing protocol. Rodriguez and Hill initially pleaded not guilty to all charges but agreed to plead guilty in July to one charge of operating an illegal money transfer business. Previously, Trump had pardoned Binance founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao and Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht.
