Armenia plans to extend its cryptocurrency cash transaction license until July 2026.

According to Sputnik Armenia, the Armenian government has approved amendments to the Crypto Assets Law, extending the license for buying and selling cryptocurrency cash for another year, and the amendments have been submitted to parliament for review. Under the revised law, businesses can still conduct cash transactions until July 2026, but will be subject to strict restrictions: each transaction cannot exceed 300,000 drams (approximately $780 USD), sellers must identify customers and register all transactions, and the central bank can check compliance at any time.
