Bhutan plans to issue TER, a sovereign gold-backed token, on Solana.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Bhutanese government officials announced at the Solana Breakpoint 2025 summit that they will launch TER, a sovereign gold-backed token, on December 17 (Bhutan's National Day), pegged 1:1 to the gold reserves of the Bhutanese treasury. The token's name is said to mean "treasure" in Bhutanese.
