Skellington described the government's efficiency department as having "only achieved modest results" and stated that he would not participate in similar projects again.

According to Odaily Planet Daily, in an interview with The Katie Miller Podcast, Musk stated that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which he led, was "somewhat successful," but if given the chance again, he would not get involved in such government affairs and would instead devote his time to his own company.

Musk stated that the name DOGE originated from online suggestions and is essentially a department established to reduce government spending. In the interview, he also discussed his brief stint in Washington, U.S. immigration policy, AI, and space exploration, stating that the government should "do as little as possible."

Musk resigned earlier this year after clashing with his government team over political controversies stemming from government spending cuts and vandalism at Tesla stores in several locations. He later repaired his relationship with President Trump. (Axios)
