Cryptocurrency investors donated £9 million to the UK Reform Party, more than the combined donations from the Conservative and Labour parties.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, cryptocurrency investor Christopher Harborne donated £9 million (cash) to the UK's Reform Party, the largest single donation the party has ever received and the highest donation ever made by a living individual in the UK.
Christopher Harborne, who owns stakes in defense technology company Qinetiq and aviation fuel producer AML Global, was an early supporter of cryptocurrency Tether. The donation, completed in the summer, supports Reform UK's autumn conference.
This donation brings the Reform Party's total donations for the third quarter of this year (July to September) to over £10 million (the exact amount is £10,526,846), exceeding the combined totals of the Conservative Party (approximately £7 million) and the Labour Party (approximately £2.5 million) during the same period.
