According to Odaily Planet Daily, artificial intelligence company Anthropic is in talks for a new round of venture capital funding, with an expected valuation of $300 billion. The company has also hired California law firm Wilson Sonsini to advise on its IPO, aiming for a listing in 2026. Analysts believe that the IPO will bring Anthropic a huge amount of capital, enabling it to compete with Sam Altman's OpenAI. Public research by Deutsche Bank analysts Adrian Cox and Stefan Abrudan indicates that OpenAI's business has some weaknesses, with consumer subscription growth for its ChatGPT platform slowing, while Anthropic is more likely to achieve profitability than OpenAI.
